By strategically scheduling this charging time, users can take advantage of lower electricity prices \u2014 such as those available late at night or during midday. This is already feasible today with dynamic electricity tariffs. Furthermore, time-variable grid charges will be introduced on April 1 this year, further enhancing the potential for optimisation. In the long run, bidirectional charging will open up additional revenue opportunities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This brief study explores the savings potential of smart charging for electric vehicles under various scenarios.
