At the end of April, the German Federal Network Agency (<span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">BNetzA<\/span><\/span>) published a discussion paper on the redesign of industrial network tariffs and presented its considerations in an expert workshop. The main objective of the proposed reform is to enable industrial flexibility and to deploy it in a way that benefits both the electricity grid and the market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"534\" data-end=\"934\">On behalf of Aurubis AG, we developed a short study outlining how industrial network tariffs could be further developed. We propose a formula-based approach for determining the level of tariff reductions, outline possible participation requirements, and discuss options for additional concrete design requirements regarding industrial flexibility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"1071\">We are pleased to present these considerations in a lunch webinar on May 13 from 12:30 to 13:00.
