At the same time, a range of regulatory approaches for battery storage are currently being developed \u2014 from grid tariffs and technical connection requirements to flexible grid connection agreements. Without a coordinated overall framework, there is a risk of conflicting incentives, unnecessary restrictions, and higher financing costs for battery projects.<\/p>\n<p>This study therefore develops a coherent concept for the system-friendly integration of large-scale batteries into electricity markets and grids. The analysis focuses on instruments such as dynamic grid tariffs, redispatch arrangements, system stability requirements, and approaches to grid financing.
